In the late Northern Song Dynasty, Ru kiln was monopolized as an official kiln, exclusively producing porcelain for the imperial court. Later generations further ranked Ru kiln as the premier celadon kiln in the north and the crown of the five famous kilns.
The literature further describes "sky blue as the most precious," describing the glaze as having a delicate pinkish-green body, pure gold, and a rich, lustrous sheen. The glaze is elegant in color and has a warm, smooth texture.
After being refined at a high temperature of 1300 degrees Celsius, only the finest quality is selected. Simple yet profound, naturally formed, its unadorned artistry makes it a precious and enduring treasure.

Ru ware

The Ru ware teaware is delicate and warm, with a glaze as smooth as solidified fat and a unique "crackle" pattern. As it is used over time, the pattern gradually changes, adding to its antique charm.
The firing process of Ru ware is extremely meticulous, with a thin and fine body and a thick and lustrous glaze, presenting an elegant "sky blue after rain" color.

The celadon glaze is as smooth as jade, with crisscrossing cracks. Its imperfections create a unique beauty. The crackled glaze surface is like sunlight brushing against water, full of charm.

The ivory white is pure and flawless, and its glaze also contains fine crackle texture, like snow and solidified fat, smooth and approachable, which also shows the layered beauty and elegance of monochrome glaze.

Ru ware porcelain conducts heat quickly, making it suitable for preserving the tender green color and aroma of tea. It is especially suitable for brewing lightly fermented or non-fermented teas, resulting in a refreshing and pleasant tea with a rich aroma.
The characteristics of tea soup produced by Ru kiln teaware are: bright and clear color, mellow aroma, smooth and full-bodied taste, delicate and soft tea, and long-lasting sweet aftertaste.
